Strategic decisions to remove the original canvas roof and sides from the metal superstructure and replace them with more permanent solutions provided a fresh look and long-term durability. The 3,500-seat column-free arena was further enhanced with a new lobby, locker room, media room and training space addition to better support athletes as they compete.
These improvements not only bolstered pride, but even helped grow the team’s fan base. The ‘buzz’ surrounding the facility’s transformation drew regional interest to the venue and heartily strengthened the local economy.
