Serving dually as CPL’s National Community & Culture Practice Leader and Southeast Region Higher Education Practice Leader, Ken he leads multidisciplinary teams in designing spaces that foster connection and growth. With nearly four decades of industry experience, he has guided projects across a wide spectrum, including civic buildings, public works facilities, recreation centers, museums, and entire college campuses. Regardless of scope, Ken is deeply committed to creating environments where people can thrive, emphasizing designs that strengthen community ties and enhance the human experience.
A staunch advocate for community- and stakeholder-driven design, Ken ensures every project reflects the needs and aspirations of the people it serves. His leadership extends beyond his professional work, as he is actively involved in the communities he shapes, currently serving on the board of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro and as Vice Chair of the Greensboro College Board of Trustees. Ken’s extensive leadership experience also includes past roles as President of the AIA North Carolina chapter, Vice Chair of Economic Development for the Greensboro Area Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
