Founded in 1957 as Suburban Community Hospital, Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital has grown into a leading healthcare institution serving Cleveland’s southeastern suburbs. Reflecting this evolution, the hospital enlisted CPL to revamp its ninth-floor space into a modern Surgery and Progressive Care Unit.

In line with the hospital’s contemporary vision, the 14,500 sq. ft. unit boasts various spaces equipped with advanced medical technology for surgery, post anesthesia care and critical care.
Emphasizing patient comfort and convenience, it features private patient bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, along with several VIP rooms tailored to meet the needs of discerning patients.
Strategically positioned to optimize healthcare delivery, the unit features a centralized nursing station serving as both a streamlined workspace for staff and a consultation hub for patients and families.
Attention to detail in adhering to Cleveland Clinic’s brand standards is evident through the thoughtful incorporation of a neutral color palette, sleek finishes, and natural wood elements.

Designed with patients, staff and visitors in mind, the renovated South Pointe Hospital Surgery Step-Down and Progressive Care Unit sets a new benchmark for surgical healthcare delivery in Warrensville Heights and surrounding greater Cleveland communities.
