With energy efficiency at the forefront, CPL worked with RRH to design the interior fit-out of the medical building, utilizing finishes that have low VOC, recycled content and regional materials. Lighting design also included LED fixtures with vacancy sensors and daylight controls to reduce energy consumption.
Exemplary credit was given to the amount of renewable power purchase to the building, allowing the project to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
2009 Commercial Interiors Gold Certification.
