The program was carefully designed to support the practice’s clinical needs, incorporating two procedure rooms, six pre/post-op bays, seven exam rooms, an ultrasound suite, and dedicated staff areas, along with a welcoming reception and waiting space. The result is a highly functional environment that supports efficient workflows while enhancing comfort for patients and staff alike.
A key challenge was the building’s lack of curb appeal after sitting empty for nearly a decade. Working closely with JRA, our healthcare practice team reimagined the exterior to reflect the quality of care offered inside. Improvements included a new pitched roof, expanded entrance with floor-to-ceiling windows, a modernized metal roof, and a refreshed brick façade, creating a contemporary identity that aligns with the facility’s revitalized interior.
The interior design was equally important, with JRA seeking an inviting “farmhouse chic” aesthetic to set a calming, patient-friendly tone. Warm wood accents, an earthy color palette, and thoughtful use of materials delivered this vision while staying within budget.
A new pitched ceiling in the lobby provided an opportunity for a striking first impression, achieved through photorealistic wood wallcovering and wood-look acoustic baffles. These baffles not only enhanced the design but also improved acoustics, ensuring the expanded lobby is both beautiful and functional.
Through this transformation, the building has been redefined as a modern, welcoming healthcare environment that supports advanced vascular and interventional care while prioritizing patient experience and staff efficiency.
