DECATUR, GA — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Mitchem to its office in Decatur, GA.
Joining the municipal team as a Planner, Mitchem is dedicated to enhancing residents’ quality of life through well-rounded strategies that encompass environmental, social and economic considerations. With proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, Tableau, R-Studio and other programs, she will be responsible for coordinating permits, arranging pre-application meetings to review submittals and developing comprehensive plan updates and zoning cases that go before city boards.
Mitchem previously served as a Sustainability Intern for the DeKalb County Department of Planning & Sustainability. She earned a Bachelor of Science in history, technology and society and a Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
