POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Douglas Burroughs to its office in Poughkeepsie, NY.
As a Junior Project Engineer, Burroughs will leverage a strong background in civil engineering and a deep commitment to sustainable design principles to contribute to a wide range of projects spanning a variety of market sectors. He brings to the firm proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D and Revit, along with additional expertise in information technology (IT).
The leadership team is confident that, whether mentoring others, performing complex site grading or preparing detailed reports, Burroughs will harness exceptional leadership, creativity, problem-solving and communication to drive innovation and cultivate successful project outcomes.
Prior to joining CPL, he served as a Hardware Specialist Intern for Harlem Children’s Zone in New York, NY. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut, and is an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
