ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is pleased to announce the addition of Amanda Berrada, Jack Marron, EIT, and Jonathan Nicklas to its New York offices.
Berrada has joined CPL’s Rochester office as an Executive Assistant. In this role, she will utilize her extensive experience in strategic planning and project management to orchestrate a multitude of schedules and communications. Furthermore, Berrada will be instrumental in driving efficiency and supporting high-impact initiatives across the firm.
Prior to CPL, Berrada held key responsibilities as a Franchise Operations Coordinator at California Closets. She holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Baking and Pastry Arts Management from the Culinary Institute of America.
Marron is now part of CPL’s Buffalo office as an Engineering Designer. With expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, he will support a variety of projects by enhancing design accuracy, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Marron is committed to delivering engineering solutions that are both efficient and sustainable, helping the firm meet the evolving needs of its clients while minimizing environmental impact.
Previously, Marron was with Haley & Aldrich as a Construction Engineer. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science, specializing in Engineering Sustainability, from the University at Buffalo, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Marron is a New York State-certified Engineer in Training (EIT) and holds certifications in HAZWOPER 40-hour and OSHA 10-hour.
Nicklas is also joining the firm’s Rochester office. As an Engineering Designer, he will work alongside the Civil Engineering team to enhance project accuracy, efficiency, and design technologies. With a focus on driving impactful design solutions, Nicklas will play a key role in streamlining processes and contributing to the firm’s ongoing success.
Prior to joining CPL full-time, Nicklas served as a Civil Engineering Intern with the firm, where he gained valuable experience in stormwater pollution prevention, water distribution, and the use of design tools like Autodesk Civil 3D and HydroCAD. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
