BUFFALO, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 49 years, is pleased to welcome Jack Dunn, Andrew Esposito and Christopher Shariff to its offices in New York.
Joining the Mechanical Engineering team at the firm’s Buffalo office, Dunn is a BSE Designer with a diverse skill set and strong proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software. His ability to translate conceptual ideas into precise engineering plans and creative problem-solving skills will enhance project development and collaboration at CPL.
Before stepping into his role, Dunn gained valuable experience through internships and seasonal positions, including positions at CPL, Niagara Falls Water Board, and DV Brown. He pursued his education in Mechanical Engineering at Buffalo State University, SUNY, earning Dean’s List honors, and attended the University at Buffalo Honors College for Mechanical Engineering.
Esposito is joining the Poughkeepsie office as a BSE Designer. His commitment to forward-thinking mechanical engineering solutions and strong foundational knowledge will enable him to create detailed blueprints and computer-generated models that meet the rigorous standards of CPL’s projects. Esposito excels in designing coaxial cable connectors and residential structures and is proficient in Creo Parametric 3D modeling software, AutoCAD, and SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD design software.
Before coming to the firm, Esposito gained valuable experience as a Design Engineer Intern at Amphenol RF in Danbury, CT. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University, with a minor in Physics. Esposito’s education also includes a semester abroad at University College Dublin, where he received an Abroad Academic Excellence Scholarship.
In Albany, Shariff joins CPL’s Technology team as a Helpdesk Specialist, bringing a robust background in informatics and cybersecurity. His information technology (IT) risk assessment and network security expertise will ensure comprehensive support for our user community, promoting seamless operations and proactive threat mitigation.
Before CPL, Shariff was an IT Technician at Colliers Engineering & Design, where he gained hands-on experience troubleshooting desktop production machines, servers, and office infrastructure. He holds a bachelor’s degree in informatics with a concentration in cybersecurity from the University at Albany, SUNY.
