Constructed in 1937 in the Town of Providence, NY, County Road 13 (Barkersville-Fayville Road) Bridge over Cadman Creek had elements that were approaching the end of their design service life. The most practical solution warranted a new bridge consisting of precast concrete, three-sided frame units supported on cast-in-place concrete footings founded on piles. The design also included the reconstruction of an associated roadway and new guide rail, enabling this structure to remain as a vital link for the community it serves.
