Constructed in 1962, the Jewett Heights Bridge over Batavia Kill provides the most direct link between the Towns of Windham and Ashland and the Town of Jewett. To ensure this key north-south connection remained well in tact, CPL provided design services for a bridge replacement, which resulted in an expansion of the structure to span 96 feet. The new bridge design also features a prestressed adjacent box-beam superstructure with cast-in-place concrete parapets and clean architectural finish.
