Allegheny Health Network Uniontown Clinic

‹ Portfolio

With a legacy of medical excellence, the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) has long served as a healthcare leader in the northeast. Recognizing critical shortages in women’s health and ancillary services throughout Fayette County, the organization sought to improve care equity by uniting its Uniontown offices under one roof with expanded offerings, minimizing the need for patients to travel between facilities.

Our healthcare practice team was commissioned to design this new, 6,200 sq. ft. Uniontown Clinic from the ground up, integrating two pediatric spaces; 12 exam rooms that flexibly accommodate endocrinology, neurology, orthopedics and general practice; and a full suite of diagnostic imaging services, including x-ray, mammography and ultrasound.

Private offices are equipped with telemedicine technology, enabling remote consultations for patients facing mobility or transportation challenges.

The facility also expands women’s health services by coordinating with the nearby AHN Jefferson Hospital’s labor and delivery program—which welcomes more than 1,100 newborns annually—for comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care. Through this partnership, the clinic supports obstetrics, preventive gynecology and the AHN Perinatal Hope program, assisting patients dealing with substance use disorders.

Completed on a fast-tracked timeline, the Uniontown Clinic embodies AHN’s Living Health model by delivering human-centered care in one convenient location. As a designated Health Professional Shortage Area, Fayette County benefits from a facility that meets essential community needs with soothing interiors, space for growth and a focus on interdisciplinary workflows—positioning AHN to promote public health for generations to come.
