CPL’s Healthcare Practice team managed the phased renovation, beginning with a complete interior demolition and redesigned layout to maximize space usage. Key to this effort was the creation of specialized spaces, including stress test facilities, exam rooms and a dedicated nuclear medicine imaging room, all designed to streamline cardiovascular care and diagnostics.
Adjacent to these treatment areas, minor procedure rooms were positioned to ensure smooth transitions between assessments and interventions, enhancing patient flow. Nearby, offices and conference rooms were integrated into the layout to support seamless staff collaboration and quick access to patient records, enabling more efficient consultations and treatments.
In line with the health system’s modern, minimalistic aesthetic, the interior materials and finishes were intentionally chosen to create a calming and comfortable ambiance. White and gray hues and wooden furniture were selected to convey a sense of professionalism and care, while ceiling accents, such as soffits and bulkheads, add visual interest without detracting from the clinic’s clean lines.
Designed with patients in mind, the resulting Monmouth Heart Specialists clinic offers a more comfortable alternative to hospital visits, creating a smoother, more efficient experience for staff, patients and families alike.
