The City of Olean sought downtown revitalization improvements to ensure walkability and unique community placemaking.
Solutions were engineered to re-route and calm traffic as well as implement wide, multi-use sidewalks for the walking and bicycling public. New landscape completed the downtown transformation by introducing a refreshing, park-like setting for members of the community and visitors to enjoy.
Walkable Olean was awarded “Transportation Project of the Year” by the NY Upstate Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (2021).
