ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Adam Cislo, Dennis DeWaters and Sheridan Grady to its office in Rochester, NY.

Joining the civil engineering team as a Junior Project Engineer, Cislo will work with leadership to produce plans for a wide array of water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and stormwater system projects, performing 3D modeling and preparing documentation as needed.

Cislo previously served as a civil engineering intern before joining the firm full-time, and earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Technically proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, he maintains certifications with both the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Portable Nuclear Gauge Association (APNGA), and is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

As a Helpdesk Specialist with more than a decade of experience, DeWaters will be responsible for resolving technical issues for team members across the entire CPL footprint. His expertise involves configuring and troubleshooting network security devices; working with backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data is secure and recoverable; and writing and modifying scripts to automate tasks and remedy recurring challenges.

Before joining CPL’s technology team, DeWaters served as a Senior Helpdesk Agent for Integris IT, LLC. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in networking technologies from Bryant & Stratton College, a Human Services Certificate from Monroe Community College and a Computer Information Systems Certificate from the Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) of New York State.

Grady joins the firm as an Interior Designer. With a deep passion for leveraging thoughtful design to elevate environments, she will bring an impressive skill set and extensive field experience to the team, including expertise as a traveling interior surveyor and in programs such as Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Her responsibilities will include developing 3D models, selecting finishes and participating in engaging client visioning sessions to ensure that all designs mindfully incorporate sustainable practices, meet accessibility requirements and adhere to public health and safety codes.

Prior to joining the firm full-time, Grady served as an interior design intern. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
