The addition reflects CPL’s continued investment in one of the nation’s fastest-growing healthcare markets and reinforces the firm’s long-term strategy to expand its presence across the Southeast while providing healthcare organizations with greater access to integrated planning, advisory, architecture and engineering expertise.

Williams joins CPL following his tenure as President of Carbon Design & Architecture, bringing more than 30 years of experience leading healthcare, science and technology, higher education, hospitality, adaptive reuse and community-focused design projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Throughout his career, he has partnered with leading healthcare organizations including Tampa General Hospital, HCA Healthcare, Orlando Health and AdventHealth, building a reputation for thoughtful leadership, collaborative problem-solving and long-term client relationships.
His experience extends beyond healthcare alone. By combining lessons learned from hospitality, higher education, cultural and science-focused environments, Williams brings a broader perspective to healthcare planning and design—helping organizations create facilities that not only operate efficiently, but also improve the experience of patients, families and caregivers.
