CPL Welcomes Elena Robles in Albany

ALBANY, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Elena Robles, Associate AIA, LEED AP BD+C to its office in Albany, NY.

Robles joins the firm as an Architectural Technician, and will leverage expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) to help prepare conceptual drawings and plans for diverse building and structure projects spanning CPL’s geographic footprint. She brings to the team expertise not only in drafting and modeling, but programming, 3D scanning, estimating, safety administration and project management.

Passionate about environmentally friendly design, Robles is well-versed in identifying ways to make green projects more cost-effective for clients through incentives, grants and tax programs. She is also skilled in identifying sustainable materials and creating high-efficiency energy models to reduce operational costs.

She previously served as an Architectural Designer for SMRT, Inc. in Schenectady, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and an Associate of Applied Science in computer-aided drafting and design from Hudson Valley Community College. Additionally, Robles maintains certification with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Associate-level membership with the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional with a specialized focus in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C).
