ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Laura Harding Smith to its office in Rochester, NY.
Joining the firm as Human Resources Information System (HRIS) / HR Business Partner Manager, Harding Smith will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR team’s software and related processes. She will draw from expertise in benefits, recruitment, payroll analysis and automated system solutions to optimize HR protocols, drive innovation and enhance team member experiences.
An excellent collaborator, she excels in delivering quality projects on time and budget and aligning workflows with business objectives, and her strategic mindset and adaptability will make her an invaluable asset in navigating complex HR challenges to contribute to firmwide success.
Harding Smith previously served as a Business Analyst for Puzzle HR. She earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the College at Brockport; has received formal training in agile methodology; and completed Dale Carnegie’s Skills for Success course. Harding Smith also maintains several professional certifications with Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), and is an active member of the American Payroll Association (APA).
