CPL Welcomes Debora Mazza and Eric McQuide to Its Offices in New York

ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 49 years, is pleased to announce the addition of Debora Mazza and Eric McQuide, M.S., CEM, CBCP, LEED AP, to its offices in New York.

Joining the firm’s Poughkeepsie office as an Architectural Designer, Mazza will apply her expertise in communication and project coordination to collaborate closely with clients and contractors to ensure each project aligns with unique needs and aspirations. Her proactive problem-solving and attention to detail will be valuable assets to the CPL team.

Prior to CPL, Mazza gained experience as an intern with Meyer Contracting Corporation. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Brasilia (UDC) and has furthered her education with courses in Business Entrepreneurship and Construction Technology Management from Hudson Valley Community College and Dutchess Community College.

McQuide joins the firm’s Albany, office as a Senior Project Manager Energy Engineer. He will leverage his nearly two decades of experience in energy management and facilities project development to conduct project feasibility assessments, technical specifications and energy auditing. Moreover, he will ensure regulatory compliance, delivering energy solutions that support sustainability and performance across various sectors.

Prior to CPL, McQuide served as the Director of Sustainability, Energy, and Environmental Programs at the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY). He holds a Master of Science in Energy Management from the New York Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University.

Additionally, McQuide is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He is an active member of the GreenNY Council and the NYS Environmental Bond Act Green Buildings Subcommittee.
