Their well-earned promotions reflect not only their individual leadership, but also our shared commitment to delivering thoughtful, community-centered design across Ohio and beyond.

STEVE JOURILES

AIA, CDP, LEED AP

Steve has been promoted to Principal Architect at CPL. He joined the CPL team through the acquisition of Makovich & Pusti in 2023. His extensive responsibilities encompass project procurement, precise code and zoning analysis, feasibility studies, due diligence surveys, program space development and schematic design through construction administration for projects spanning the higher education, community and healthcare sectors.

TIM WAGNER

AIA, NCARB

Tim has been promoted to Principal Architect at CPL. He has two decades of experience in architecture and construction management, specializing in historic preservation. Tim’s impressive track record spans diverse sectors, including healthcare, higher education, community, hospitality, multi-family residential and mixed-use projects, culminating in numerous award-winning initiatives from initial design through successful completion.

KIERNAN WEESE

AIA, NCARB

Kiernan has been promoted to Architectural Project Manager II at CPL. In this role, Kiernan helps lead and expand the firm’s Ohio offices, overseeing practice operations, project execution, and strategic growth initiatives. He plays a key role in managing complex architectural projects across the higher education and institutional sectors, ensuring design excellence, financial efficiency, and seamless coordination among multidisciplinary teams.
