CPL Welcomes Jessica Capers, Kyle Twombly and Ainsley Sikora in Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 46 years, is pleased to welcome Jessica Capers, Kyle Twombly and Ainsley Sikora to its growing team in Rochester, NY.

Capers joins the firm as a Practice Manager with more than two decades of experience. She will arrange special events, oversee billing, meet with vendors, assist the marketing team with proposal development and serve as a highly knowledgeable resource for American Institute of Architects (AIA) documents and standards. She will also lend sharp time management and organizational skills to the preparation of construction specifications and documents, including contracts, submittals and requests for information (RFIs).

Prior to joining CPL, Capers served as the Manager of the MRI/Genetics Department at Elizabeth Wende Breast Care, LLC. She earned an Associate of Science degree from Bryant & Stratton College, a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute and an Independent Insurance Adjuster License from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYSDFS).

Twombly joins the civil engineering team as a driven Junior Project Engineer. His daily responsibilities will encompass the preparation of plans, drawings and models in AutoCAD and frequent site grading. As an experienced geologist with nearly a decade of industry experience, he will also oversee construction activities and perform environmental investigations to gather data for technical reports. His robust analytical and communicative skills will enable him to provide ample support for firm-wide sustainable design projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Twombly served as a Realtor for Calcagni Real Estate in Southington, CT. He earned a Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of Connecticut and is an active member of several professional organizations, including Engineers Without Borders, the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG).

Sikora joins CPL as Benefits Manager and will be responsible for the administration and oversight of group health plans, life insurance, tuition benefits and leaves. She will dutifully arrange and conduct benefits orientation and enrollment sessions and field individual inquiries as they arise, subsequently conducting investigations and spearheading development initiatives for the entire team. In addition to her human resources experience, she brings to the firm expertise in marketing, business and cost modeling.

Prior to joining the CPL team, Sikora served as the Assistant Director of Human Resources Operations at SUNY Finger Lakes Community College. She earned a Master of Science in human resources management from Nazareth College, as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in communications from the University of New Haven.
