CPL Welcomes Jon Bodendorf and Bob Capucilli in Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for more than 45 years, is pleased to welcome Jon Bodendorf, P.E. and Bob Capucilli, PLS to its growing team in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Bondendorf joins the civil engineering team as a Senior Municipal Engineer with more than 25 years of industry experience. He is responsible for supervising multiple engineers and projects including water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, and other civil and municipal engineering projects in the Hudson Valley.

Prior to joining CPL, Bondendorf served as a Senior Discipline Engineer at H2M Architects + Engineers. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Master of Science degree in environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He holds professional engineering licensure in New York State.

In his new role as Land Surveyor, Capucilli is responsible for overseeing field crews and managing a variety of survey projects from start to finish. This includes operating various surveying instruments to prepare maps and CAD deliverables as well as collecting and processing detailed survey data.

Capucilli previously served as a Project Manager at MJ Engineering and Land Surveying. He has an Associate of Applied Science degree in surveying technology from Paul Smith’s College and holds professional land surveying licensure in New York State. Outside the office, Capucilli is an active member of several organizations including the Mid-Hudson Valley Land Surveyors Association, the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), and the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS).
