ALBANY, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 49 years, is pleased to welcome Laura Altesor, Kathryn Dranichak and Jonathan Reyes to its offices in Albany, Poughkeepsie and Westchester, NY.
Known for her collaborative nature and attention to detail, Altesor will work with the firm’s K-12 team as a Sr. Architectural Designer at CPL Westchester. In her new role, she will leverage her vast expertise across various design sectors to oversee project coordination and the successful execution of projects through all development and coordination phases.
Before coming to CPL, Altesor was a Technical Project Designer at Lothrop Associates Architects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology with a minor in Construction Management from the New York Institute of Technology and an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology from Norwalk Community Technical College. Furthermore, Altesor is OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certified and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Passionate about reinvigorating communities, Dranichak joins the firm’s Albany office as an Architectural Designer on the Community Industrial National team. In her new role, she will utilize her proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite to contribute to projects of varying size and complexity.
Dranichak previously gained valuable experience as an Architectural Intern at CPL. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, as well as a Master of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Reyes will be an Architectural Designer who will work with the firm’s K-12 team at the Poughkeepsie office. His responsibilities will include preparing detailed drawings, developing survey maps, and contributing to layout designs, all while leveraging his passion for 3D modeling and creative problem-solving.
Prior to his full-time role, Reyes was an Architectural intern at CPL. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University at Buffalo, where he also pursued a minor in Environmental Design. His academic background includes coursework in environmental systems and urban planning.
