BUFFALO, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Brenna Reilly to its office in Buffalo, NY.
Reilly joins the municipal team as an enthusiastic Urban Planner who is deeply committed to advancing, molding and enriching the communities she works with. Highly proficient in CAD, Revit, SketchUp and other industry best programs, and with a strong background in historic preservation and sustainability, her core competencies will include creating maps using the ArcGIS suite, organizing pre-application meetings and permits to review submittals, documenting and following up on applicant communication and developing complete plan updates and zoning cases for city boards.
Prior to joining the CPL team, Reilly served as a Program Coordinator for the Western New York Sustainable Business Roundtable, where she oversaw monthly events and educational programs and facilitated community engagement efforts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from St. Bonaventure University and a Master of Planning, a Master of Architecture and an Advanced Certificate of Historic Preservation from the University at Buffalo.
Her passion for the built environment extends beyond her professional work; Reilly also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Erie Community College, imparting instruction on mechanical design to architectural students. Additionally, she maintains active membership with the American Planning Association (APA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC), the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Long Range Planning Committee for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy (BOPC).
