The development consists of five two-story, colonial-style buildings thoughtfully arranged alongside the existing Strickler Apartments, creating a cohesive village atmosphere that strengthens campus connectivity.
Each residence is designed with student comfort and functionality in mind, offering flexible apartment layouts for three or six occupants. Units feature full kitchens, multiple bathrooms and inviting shared spaces, supporting both independent living and community building. The overall design fosters a homelike atmosphere that enhances student life and encourages meaningful peer connections.
Sustainability was a central priority in the project, which achieved LEED Certification for its energy-efficient and health-conscious design. High-performance soy-based insulation, Energy Star-certified appliances, and occupancy-sensor lighting reduce environmental impact while lowering operational costs. Low-VOC paints and adhesives further promote indoor air quality, ensuring that students benefit from healthier living spaces
Stone Village Housing exemplifies the College’s commitment to creating residential environments that honor tradition, enrich the student experience, and advance sustainability.
