Spanning close to 16 acres, Monroe County’s Seneca Park Zoo is comprised of five major buildings and numerous animal enclosures. Phase one of this $57 million master plan expansion project included the addition of the popular Cold Asia and Animals of the Savannah Exhibits.
With a distinctive elevation, the Cold Asia Exhibit provides a comfortable habitat for Red Pandas and Snow Leopards, allowing the animals to climb and explore the way they would in the wild. The Animals of the Savannah exhibit covers five acres of space for Masai giraffes, plains zebras, ostriches and everyone’s favorite, Bill, the Rhino to roam freely. This exhibit also includes the Savannah Outpost, a concessions building that features a giraffe feeding area.
