CPL’s Industrial and Economic Development team partnered with Buffalo Construction Consultants (BCC) to deliver a three-phase renovation and expansion. The Advanced Integrated Manufacturing project transformed the existing campus into a flexible, high-performance environment designed to adapt alongside changing production demands.

The project included 22,000 square feet of new office, administrative and support space, along with upgraded manufacturing areas and a second-floor shell for future expansion. The facility was reconfigured to better connect engineering and production teams, improving communication and streamlining workflows across the floor.

Phased construction allowed work to move forward on an accelerated schedule while minimizing disruptions. Early procurement strategies helped avoid material delays and kept the project on track.

Flexibility was a key focus of the design. Manufacturing spaces were provided with adaptable layouts and distributed utility systems, allowing equipment and production lines to be reconfigured as needs develop over time without major renovations.

In addition to operational improvements, the project enhances the day-to-day experience for employees. Updated workspaces, collaborative areas and brighter, more open environments support a culture of innovation and teamwork.

The facility positions the client for continued growth by strengthening advanced manufacturing capabilities and supporting regional job creation. Designed with long-term flexibility in mind, the project provides a versatile foundation that can evolve alongside changing technologies, production needs and workforce demands.
