Interior of a modern industrial facility featuring extensive HVAC ductwork, elevated machinery platforms, and complex piping systems at Nordson Value Plastics in Colorado.

The facility consolidates manufacturing, assembly, packaging and distribution of Nordson’s Value Plastics brand—producing over 4,000 single-use, precision-molded plastic components for fluid management in critical healthcare applications.

CPL, working closely with Powers Brown Architecture and Nordson MEDICAL, shaped this single-story, 115,000 sq. ft. facility, balancing technical precision with environmental sensitivity.

The design integrates advanced injection molding operations in high-performing clean room environments and dedicated inventory storage—all housed within a highly efficient layout that supports both today’s production demands and tomorrow’s growth.

To create a welcoming and inspiring workplace, the building incorporates natural interior design elements uncommon in industrial environments.

Thermomass tilt-up concrete walls are complemented by board form textures and wood accents at the entry, while expansive floor-to-ceiling glass along the east and west façades floods the interiors with daylight and frames panoramic mountain views—bringing warmth and wellness to a highly technical setting.

Purposeful design decisions—scaling for future growth, protecting manufacturing integrity and elevating the employee experience—position the Value Plastics Manufacturing Facility as a long-term investment in excellence.
