Previously located in a historic building on a side street downtown, the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro sought to renovate its office and meeting space to better serve its expanding presence in the community and allow for increased event functionality.

Starting with extensive visioning and needs assessments of their existing space, the Foundation capitalized on input from stakeholders and design experts to select a new office building located at a prime crossroads in the middle of downtown. Aside from more room to host a wide range of visitors, the more accessible site grants increased street visibility and community transparency.
Thorough design planning resulted in a welcoming and vibrant office that also considers optimal privacy for Foundation visitors. This was achieved with light-filtering glass wall panels with window film to maintain discretion and the installation of individual offices to accommodate sensitive client information.
The Foundation’s relocated and transformed home is now well-equipped to support a variety of impactful community efforts for current and future generations.
