The City of Suwanee Municipal Courts project reflects a collaborative design process grounded in how the community actually uses the facility. Early planning focused on understanding how residents, staff and law enforcement move through the building and where the experience created friction. Those insights directly shaped the design approach—from how people enter the facility, to how they wait, navigate services and access secure areas.

The result is a clearer and more efficient public experience. An expanded lobby and additional service windows reduce confusion and help streamline arrivals and check-in.
Improved circulation and reconfigured interiors support easier movement throughout the building, while expanded clerk workspaces and dedicated areas for law enforcement strengthen day-to-day operations behind the scenes.

Security, access control and infrastructure upgrades were integrated to support both current demands and future flexibility, ensuring the building can continue to serve the City as needs evolve.
Rather than simply adding space, the project refines how the courthouse functions for the people who rely on it every day—creating a more intuitive, organized and responsive civic environment.
