CPL’s work supported the District’s efforts to enhance the functionality and long-term use of the outdoor athletic facilities while integrating the improvements within the existing high school campus.
The revitalized track and field provides an improved environment for practices, competition, physical education and community activities, helping the District maximize the value of its existing site and athletic infrastructure.
The improvements were completed as part of the District’s broader investment in its aging facilities, which also included upgrades to windows, doors, roofing, mechanical systems and fire alarm infrastructure at the high school.
More than a venue for athletics, the track and field serves as an important gathering place for the Spackenkill community. Its renewal provides students with a quality environment for athletics and recreation while strengthening a shared source of school spirit, connection and community pride
