With hopes of expanding world-class treatment options to people residing north of Pittsburgh, UPMC Passavant relocated an existing service unit to make way for a new Hillman Cancer Center in Cranberry Township.

The new cancer center features six exam rooms, two private infusion rooms, 14 infusion bays designed to post-covid standards, and a panoramic nurse’s station with unobstructed, 360 views of floor and patient activities. These additions, along with ample space for state-of-the-art clinical trials, enables UPMC doctors and staff to effectively treat a larger volume of patients.


Entry to exit, strategic interior design decisions were made to ease anxieties for patients and visitors. The building boasts a spacious entryway with a seamless check in/out process as well as clear signage and wayfinding throughout.
