Originally constructed in 1933, this bridge is located in Akron Falls Park and had been closed to the traveling public due to significant deterioration. CPL designed a new precast concrete replacement superstructure to replicate the aesthetic of the original bridge. This project won “Honorable Mention” in the Annual Bridge Design competition sponsored by the Western NY Chapter of the Association of Bridge Construction and Design.
