Recognizing the pressing need for additional parking in their bustling downtown business district and with a vision to encourage public access, the City of Canton entrusted CPL with the task of designing a parking deck adjacent to the existing City Hall.

Our team took on the challenge of creating a functional parking facility that seamlessly blended with the unique and historic style of the surrounding buildings. Primary design objectives included prioritizing efficient access for both pedestrians and vehicles.
As a result of thoughtful planning and design execution, the Downtown Parking Deck now stands as an impressive structure that serves as a milestone for the City of Canton. The deck itself boasts 102 parking spaces distributed across two independent levels, doubling the amount of parking spaces previously available on the surface lot. Furthermore, a captivating mural adorns the structure, accompanied by vibrant LED lights, to add a touch of vibrancy and culture significance. This fusion of art and architecture exemplifies the City’s ongoing dedication to enhancing infrastructure and promoting economic potential in downtown Canton.
Collaboration played a pivotal role in this project’s success. Alongside CPL, partners such as Georgia Power and Astra Group contributed their expertise to deliver a parking deck that meets the diverse needs of the Canton community.
