Serving dually as CPL’s National Civic Buildings Practice Leader and Southeast Region Higher Education Practice Leader, Ken guides multidisciplined teams to pioneer forward-looking designs for a range of public, private and civic buildings, from recreation centers and museums to entire college campuses, focused on cultivating spaces that foster local engagement and pride. A LEED-accredited architect with nearly four decades of industry experience, his background also encompasses sustainable design for public intermodal transit passenger and maintenance facilities, historic building renovation and adaptive reuse projects.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ken remains deeply involved in the communities he works with, currently serving on the board of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro and as the Vice Chair of the Greensboro College Board of Trustees. He served previously as President of the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) North Carolina chapter; Vice Chair of Economic Development for the Greensboro Area Chamber of Commerce; and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
