K. Scott Gordon

AIA, NCARB, LEED AP Georgia Region Community Practice Leader | Principal

Since joining CPL in 2010, Scott has played a key role in driving business development and providing leadership for projects throughout the state of Georgia. With over 25 years of experience in architecture, much of his focus is on institutional design as well as projects seeking green building certification through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and similar rating systems. His desire to merge quality design with strong, lasting relationships has not only allowed him to become a valuable asset to his fellow design professionals, but has also helped him make exciting things happen for our clients.

Outside the office, Scott serves as a county commissioner in Cherokee County, the seventh largest county in Georgia and home to the Woodstock office where Scott is based. Serving his community on the commission has broadened his experience as an architect by giving him perspective from the owner’s side of the design process.
