GREENSBORO, NC — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Torrey Orlopp, IIDA, LEED GA to its office in Greensboro, NC.
Orlopp joins CPL as a Senior Interior Designer, and will oversee the various phases of interior-related projects which require a robust understanding of building design, fire, life-safety and energy codes. Her proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite will enable her to model 3D floor and ceiling plans for a multitude of assignments spanning the firm’s Higher Education and Community Practices, and she will strive to implement sustainable design strategies for every venture undertaken.
A dedicated professional with experience in both architecture and interior design, Orlopp was named to the Triad Business Journal’s (TBJ) 2022 “20 in their 20s” list. She is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate (LEED GA) and maintains accreditation with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
Prior to joining the firm, Orlopp served as an Architectural Designer for DPS Group Global in Cary, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate of Historic Preservation and a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture.
