CPL Welcomes Pedro Torres, Gillam Sinharoy, and Eric Reese in Georgia

ATLANTA, GA — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is excited to announce the addition of three accomplished professionals across its Georgia offices.

A licensed landscape architect and LEED SITES Accredited Professional, Pedro Torres, MBA, PLA, ASLA has been appointed Landscape Architecture Project Manager. In this role, he will be responsible for designing purposeful public spaces that ensure environmental performance and daily functionality. Grounded in sustainable principles and fluent in every stage of the design process—from master planning to detailed documentation—his approach is marked by a clear understanding of how to align vision with execution, ensuring that budgets, schedules and stakeholder priorities remain in sync.

Prior to joining CPL, Torres served as a Project Manager for the Foresite Group. He earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, and maintains credentials as a GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional, adding depth in erosion control and regulatory navigation for complex sites.

Gillam Sinharoy joins our Placemaking Practice team as a Senior Planning Project Manager, bringing a strong foundation in planning and real estate with specialty expertise at the intersection of urban development, economic trends and site selection.

She will apply a planner’s lens to market research—analyzing real estate dynamics through their broader impacts on land use, infrastructure and community development. Her role will also see her leverage knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS), land use planning and data visualization to deliver strategic insights that support smart decision-making.

Sinharoy previously served as a Senior Research Manager at JLL. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from Georgia State University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Eric Reese joins CPL’s Municipal Team with a strong background in civil and site engineering. In his role, he will offer support for drafting, surveying and quality control workflows that support efficient, high-quality project deliverables across diverse market sectors. His hands-on experience with design software and familiarity with public and private sector work will make him a versatile asset to our team in Suwanee.

Reese most recently served as a Project Engineer at Precision Planning Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Savannah State University.
