WOODSTOCK, GA — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Purvi Ray, AIA and Michael Brock, LEED AP to its office in Woodstock, GA.
Ray joins the K-12 Practice team as a Senior Architectural Designer, and will leverage advanced 2D and 3D modeling skills, fluency in programming and scripting languages and an aptitude for emerging technologies to provide forward-looking design concepts for school districts across the east coast.
Prior to joining CPL, Ray worked as a Project Manager for CSC Design in Canton, GA, and has also served as an Adjunct Professor for various higher education entities. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in architecture and a Master of Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as a Master of Science in information systems and technology from South University.
Additionally, Ray is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a member of the Engineering Advisory Board at Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta, GA, and the co-author of the “Pocket Guide to Revit,” published in 2012.
Brock also joins CPL as a Senior Architectural Designer, and will bring more than two decades of experience in the municipal, transit, academic and healthcare market sectors to the architectural team. He will be responsible for facilitating design development, construction documentation and contract administration for complex assignments spanning the firm’s diverse practice sectors.
Brock previously served as a Project Architect and BIM Manager for Wendel in Atlanta, GA. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Kennesaw State University, and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional, with a focus in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP).
