CHARLOTTE, NC — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is excited to announce the addition of Nicole Palmer, RID, NCIDQ, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, IIDA to our design team in Charlotte, NC.
Palmer is dedicated to shaping interior environments that advance health, safety and overall wellbeing. With specialized experience in behavioral health and acute care settings, she brings a deeply considered, human-centered and trauma-informed approach to our Healthcare Practice. Her passion for designing spaces that balance clinical functionality with meaningful emotional impact will support CPL’s mission to create healing environments grounded in dignity, comfort and positive psychological outcomes.
Beyond her project work, Palmer is an active contributor to the broader design community. She regularly engages in industry conversations surrounding sustainability, interior design advocacy and the evolving role of health-focused design, further amplifying her commitment to creating spaces that support people and the planet.
Palmer previously served as an Interior Designer at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Western Carolina University, and maintains several certifications, including NCIDQ; as a WELL Accredited Professional; and as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional.
