POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 47 years, is pleased to welcome John Aldrich to its office in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Joining CPL as a Junior Project Engineer, Aldrich will be primarily responsible for providing design assistance for a wide range of wastewater treatment and collection projects; conducting site and construction inspections; and researching and applying associated code provisions to various assignments. He will also prepare maps and layouts and participate in consultation sessions with local and regional business partners.
In addition to his vast knowledge of civil engineering principles, he brings to the firm experience in land surveying, building information modeling (BIM) and skilled labor, including sealcoating, blacktopping, court resurfacing and parking line painting.
Aldrich previously served as a Civil Engineer for Paggi Engineering in Fishkill, NY. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Syracuse University and maintains a 10-Hour Certification with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). He is also a Certified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Inspector, a dedicated Eagle Scout and a member of the Boy Scouts of America’s (BSA) Order of the Arrow society.
