TAMPA, FL — CPL, a full-service architectural and engineering design firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Linaea Floden, AIA, ACHA, NCARB, LEED AP, as a Principal Healthcare Architect out of the firm’s Tampa office.
Floden brings over 20 years of combined experience both working in and designing complex healthcare environments. As part of the Healthcare team, she will partner with clients to create design strategies that enhance the well-being of patients, families and staff, while supporting the evolving needs of the local healthcare sector.
Floden’s portfolio highlights a more than two-decade-long commitment to creating efficient, sustainable environments that improve patient care. She deeply understands the critical role healthcare institutions play in supporting communities and strives to design spaces that foster healing, efficiency and progress.

In her new role, Floden will focus on leading healthcare projects across the Tampa region, home to many prominent medical institutions. She will oversee project teams, providing the resources needed to deliver high-quality designs that meet the unique needs of healthcare providers and patients. Additionally, Floden will guide the planning and strategic direction of these projects, ensuring they align with both immediate and long-term goals.

Floden is a Board-Certified Healthcare Architect by the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) and holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certificate. She is also an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Additionally, Floden earned a Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Sustainability Management from St. Petersburg College.
