CPL Welcomes New Team Members in New York

Rochester, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public- and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is pleased to announce the promotion of Maddie Stooks, and the addition of Hannah Nickerson and Sarah Woloson to Rochester, NY.

Maddie Stooks has been promoted to Engineering Designer after previously serving as an intern on the firm’s Civil Engineering team. In this role, she supports a variety of civil engineering projects through site planning, materials testing, structural analysis, surveying, CAD modeling, and design development. Utilizing tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, she works closely with project teams to help deliver accurate, high-quality engineering solutions.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and is certified as an American Society of Civil Engineers Grade III member.

Hannah Nickerson joins CPL as a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, bringing more than a decade of progressive experience across corporate accounting, consulting, higher education, and professional services. In her role, she supports financial reporting, month-end close activities, budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting operations, helping provide accurate financial information that supports business decisions across the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as an Accounting Manager at Cerion LLC, where she led financial reporting and close processes, managed accounting operations, and supported system improvements. Nickerson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Management from Roberts Wesleyan College.

Sarah Woloson joins CPL as a Payroll and HRIS Manager, where she oversees payroll operations and supports the systems that help manage employee and workforce data across the organization. Drawing on extensive experience in payroll administration, HR technology platforms and process improvement, she helps ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll and HR operations.

In her previous role, she served as Human Capital Services Manager at Consero Global Solutions, where she oversaw multi-state payroll operations for private equity- and venture capital-backed clients. Woloson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
