GREENSBORO, NC — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 48 years, is pleased to welcome Kimbertly Flores to its office in Greensboro, NC.
Flores joins the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering team as a Junior Electrical Designer who will provide power distribution, lighting and low-voltage systems for a myriad of building design projects. Her core responsibilities will involve preparing conceptual designs, selecting equipment, performing design calculations and researching agency codes and standards. Flores will also visit job sites to perform submittal reviews and gather owner documentation.
In addition to electrical expertise, she brings to the firm extensive knowledge of surveying, mechanical engineering, architecture and building information modeling (BIM) principles, and is committed to keeping up with the latest industry developments and design strategies to continuously elevate the quality of CPL’s work.
Flores served as an architectural intern prior to joining the firm full-time. She earned a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, where she also studied construction management.
