Buffalo and Rochester, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for 49 years, is pleased to welcome Jessica Jonas, John Mandabach and Anna Osterhout to its offices in Buffalo and Rochester, New York.
Jonas is joining CPL as a BIM Coordinator for the firm’s Healthcare team in Buffalo. Leveraging her proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, BIM 360 and Enscape, she will collaborate with team members, project architects and project managers to develop and implement BIM standards, workflows and best practices. Jonas’ responsibilities will also include providing technical guidance and training to the design team.
Before coming to the firm, Jonas served as a Senior Designer at Mach Architecture. She holds an associate degree in architecture from SUNY Erie (ECC) and has earned three LinkedIn certifications in BIM and CAD management.
Mandabach is stepping into the role of Technology Project Manager at the firm’s Rochester office. There, he will utilize his extensive experience in strategic planning and policy formulation to drive organizational success and maintain CPL’s commitment to operational excellence.
Prior to joining the firm, Mandabach was the Vice President of Operations at Ocello Systems, where he led strategic planning initiatives and formulated company-wide policies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from St. John Fisher University and is a certified Apple Macintosh and iOS Technician.
Osterhout, who will assume the role of Engineering Technician II, is also new to the firm’s Rochester office. With nearly two decades of proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid background in computer-aided and hand drafting, she will bring invaluable skills to CPL’s Engineering team. Her role will involve working closely with architects and clients across diverse sectors, where she will showcase her versatility and dedication to project success.
Before coming to the firm, Osterhout was a Project Manager and lead Designer at Art of Architecture in Walworth. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Architectural Design and Building Sciences from Finger Lakes Community College, as well as a certificate in AutoCAD from Wayne Technical and Career Center.
