Rochester, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is excited to announce the addition of Jake Zimmerman and Vanessa Donadio to its office in Fairport, NY.
Zimmerman joins CPL as a Senior Financial Reporting Manager, where he will lead key reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring the firm’s fiscal story remains clear, accurate, and meaningful. With extensive experience in accounting, internal controls, and risk management, Zimmerman will support the team with strong analytical insight.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Global Accounting Manager at Constellation Brands, Inc. In Rochester, NY. Zimmerman holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Rochester. He is a Certified Public Accountant with fourteen years of professional experience and brings proficiency in Microsoft applications, along with advanced experience using SAP and OneStream.
Donadio joins CPL as a Copywriter, where she will support the marketing team by creating and editing articles and assets across all digital platforms, including for content marketing campaigns and internal communications, helping to reinforce the firm’s culture and ensure alignment with core values and messaging.
She brings social media expertise, strong editorial skills, and a lifelong passion for storytelling through writing. The leadership team is confident she will approach each day with empathy and a people-first perspective informed by years of customer service work, nonprofit involvement expanding access to transportation, and direct support experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Previously, Donadio served as a Social Media Coordinator at DAC, a marketing agency in Rochester, NY. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication and Digital Media from St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, NY, where she graduated cum laude.
