TAMPA, FL — CPL, a full-service design firm with 50 years of experience serving public and private-sector clients, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Tampa, FL office with the addition of Farris King and Levy Nguyen, AIA, LEED AP BD + C, NCARB.
Farris King joins the firm as a part of the Architectural Team, bringing over five years of experience working on multi-family, retail and adaptive reuse projects. After previously contributing to CPL in a part-time capacity, King now joins the team full-time, where he will continue supporting the design process through his technical expertise in AutoCAD, Revit and Rhino.
Before his full-time transition to CPL, King served as an Architectural Associate at BDG Architects in Tampa. He holds a Master of Architecture from Florida International University, where he was also actively involved as Social Events Coordinator for the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS).
Levy Nguyen joins CPL as an Architectural Project Manager, where he will lead complex architectural projects from initial programming through construction closeout. Leveraging his extensive project management experience, Nguyen will ensure that each project meets client goals, regulatory requirements and high standards of design excellence.
Prior to CPL, Nguyen worked as an Architect and Project Manager at RS&H in Tampa. He holds a Master of Architecture and Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Film from Vanderbilt University. A licensed architect, Nguyen is a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of both the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Beyond his professional contributions, Nguyen is deeply engaged in the Tampa Bay community, serving in leadership roles with the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Tampa Bay and the Barrio Latino Commission, where he champions community development and civic engagement.
