ROCHESTER, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is excited to announce the addition of David Wahl as a Sr. BIM Manager in Rochester, NY.

As a seasoned design technology leader, Wahl brings deep expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a passion for empowering teams through smart, streamlined workflows. In his new role, he will guide the implementation of firmwide BIM standards, oversee digital coordination across disciplines and champion the adoption of emerging design tools that enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Whether troubleshooting complex software challenges or rolling out targeted training programs, Wahl is committed to making technology both approachable and impactful. The leadership team is confident his dependable, solution-oriented approach will help ensure teams have the resources and support they need to deliver with confidence.

Before joining CPL, Wahl served as a CAD/BIM Manager at McFarland Johnson, honing his skills leading BIM initiatives across a range of architecture and engineering environments. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Technology from Monroe Community College.
