Rochester, NY — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public- and private-sector clients for more than 50 years, is pleased to announce the promotion of Autumn Howard in Rochester, NY, and the addition of Elisa Barber in Cleveland, Ohio.
Autumn Howard has been promoted to Interior Designer after previously serving as an Interior Design Intern at CPL. In her new role, she supports the planning and design of interior environments, collaborating with project teams to develop functional, creative spaces that enhance the user experience. Drawing on her background in interior design, construction management, and urban studies, she contributes to projects with a thoughtful, human-centered approach and strong attention to detail.
Howard holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, with a minor in Construction Management and an immersion in Urban Studies, from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Elisa Barber joins CPL as a Proposal Coordinator, where she helps prepare proposals, qualifications packages, and other materials that support the firm’s business development efforts. In this role, she works closely with technical and marketing teams to keep pursuits organized, develop content, and support client relationships.
Prior to joining CPL, Barber worked in proposal coordination, marketing, and business development roles within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Most recently, she served as a Business Development Representative at Starfish Computer Corporation, where she supported client outreach and lead generation. She also gained proposal and marketing experience at NELSON Worldwide and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
Barber holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, with minors in Business Analytics and Advertising and Public Relations, from Ohio University.
