CHARLOTTE, NC — CPL, a full-service design firm serving public and private-sector clients for more than 47 years, is pleased to welcome Michael Armstead to its office in Charlotte, NC.
Armstead joins CPL’s architectural team as a Construction Administrator with more than a decade of experience managing multimillion dollar government and private-sector ventures. His core responsibilities will include overseeing documentation for diverse new construction and renovation projects, and he will also leverage business development and creative problem-solving skills to coordinate project bidding, prepare construction contracts, review contractors’ insurance and arrange consultation sessions.
Prior to joining the firm, Armstead served as a Managing Consultant for Armstead South Atlantic, LC in Richmond, VA. He earned a Bachelor of Sociology from the University of Lynchburg and maintains an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 500 Certification, which will allow him to train junior team members in OSHA best practices.
